Physiotherapy assessments are available with our ACP Carl Chapman. Carl has completed training above and beyond that of a general physiotherapist. He is an independent prescriber which means that he can prescribe various pain medications which are not available over the counter. Carl can send the prescription to our local pharmacy where the prescription can be dispensed and collected. There is a fee for the prescription note and you will need to pay the pharmacy the private fee for the drug. These appointments are reserved for those patients with a very high level of pain or dysfunction for whom pain medication or further investigation may be required.
The price for an initial assessment with Carl is £100 with an additional prescription note fee of £20 if needed. Follow ups (30 minutes) are charged at £60.
