Cortizone joint and soft tissue injections

We offer two types of injection treatment at the clinic which are administered by our Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Carl Chapman.
Steroid injections
Steroid (or cortisone) injections into a joint or soft tissue (e.g. tendon) are highly effective in relieving pain and inflammation caused by conditions such as arthritis, bursitis and tendinitis.
The typical price for an assessment of a new patient (60 mins) including an anatomically guided cortisone injection is £180. The typical price for the above for an existing patient (30 minutes) is £140.
Ostenil injections (Hyaluronic acid)
This is used for the treatment of osteoarthritis. It is injected into an arthritic joint to increase the volume of fluid in the joint which improves lubrication and reduces stiffness. It is hypoallergenic and is a good alternative for patients who have had previous reaction to steroid injections or have health conditions which prevent them from having them. Repeat injections are possible if it helps.
The typical price for an assessment of a new patient (60 minutes) including Ostenil injection is £285 (the price is £245 for a small joint). The typical price for the above for an existing patient (30 minutes) is £200 (the price is £160 for a small joint).
