BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP, HCPC Registered
Hello, I’m Charlotte — the founder of Back to Fitness Physio. I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2001 from Leeds Metropolitan University and began my career in the NHS. In 2004, I moved into private practice, and just two years later, I took the leap and launched this clinic in the heart of Ripponden.
Since then, I’ve seen Back to Fitness Physio grow into a trusted local service with a fantastic team and a reputation I’m incredibly proud of. My clinical interests include shoulder, knee and biomechanics, and I have a real passion for rehabilitation.
I’m especially passionate about building community through movement — supporting women through perimenopause and beyond, and creating spaces where people feel empowered, supported, and never judged. I’m quite shy by nature, so it really matters to me that everyone feels comfortable and welcome the moment they walk through our doors — whether they’re visiting the clinic or The Physio Rehab Barn.
Outside of work, I’m kept on my toes by my two gorgeous sons, two rather entertaining standard poodles, chickens… and my very patient husband!
